Trekking Grades
We have graded all our trekking trips in different categories to suit the interest and time frame of our clients. Grading of a trek is done on the basis of some important factors such as- trip duration, altitude, terrain, length of walking hours each day, temperatures of the areas and the level of fitness.
Easy : Trek involves 4-5 hours each day, altitude generally doest not exceed 2800m. Anyone who enjoys regular exercise and is in good physical condition can easily cope with this sort of trek.
Moderate : Trek involves walking 6-7 hours a day in more remote areas of Nepal, reaching altitudes of approximately 4200m. A reasonable level of fitness is required as there would be much ascents and descents with some occasional difficult routes.
Strenuous : Strenuous treks are harder but suitable for regular mountain walkers and involve 7 to 9 hours a day, with altitudes up to 5500m. Trekkers should be physically fit and must have appropriate preparation. Some days may involve crossing high passes and require up to 10 hours of walking each day.
