Makalu Everest Trekking Nepal This is an outstanding adventurous trek yet to be explored in the eastern region of Nepal. The entire trekking area offers a combination of rich cultural heritage, unsurpassed beauty and ecological diversity. The trail takes us from the lowlands of Tumlingtar on the Arun River valley through one of the least frequented and almost inaccessible areas in Nepal. The trail follows the beautiful Barun river valley in the Makalu Base Camp (5000m), from here views of the south face of Mt. Makalu, as well as Mt. Everest and Mt.Lhotse are truly spectacular. The Arun valley is also a home to rare species of various birds which are only found in Nepal.
