Mardi Himal Base Camp Trek - 12 Days
This is one of the exotic and interesting off-the-beaten trekking routes in the Annapurna region. Uncrowned terrain provides a chance to explore traditional villages, incredible scenery, infinite diversity of culture, spectacular views of silvery mountains, tempting views of rivers and exotic valley. The first few days the route is quite uphill along the ridge through rhododendron and pine forests. No other trekkers are seen on the route for six days and camping should be self sufficient. The entire trek will be highlighted with the mesmerizing views of the Annapurna range, Mt. Machapuchare, Mt. Manaslu and Mt. Dhaulagiri
Itineraries
Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu & transfer to hotel
Day 02: Drive to Pokhara
Day 03: Drive to Hyenja & trek to Gyachok.
Day 04: Trek to Sano Khoban (1600m).
Day 05: Trek to Pipa (3150m)
Day 06: Rest day at Pipa for acclimatization
Day 07: Trek to Thulo Kharka (4120m)
Day 08: Trek to Mardi Himal Base camp (4100m)
Day 09: Trek to Korchon (3680m)
Day 10: Trek to Riban (1780m)
Day 11: Trek to Hyenja & drive from Hyenja to Pokhara.
Day 12: Drive/ Fly to Kathmandu.
In the above itinerary we have not included sightseeing in Kathmandu & Pokhara. It can be arranged as per interest and timeframe of the clients.
