Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve - 3 Days
It is located in eastern Nepal and can be accessible from Kathmandu either by flight to Biratnagar or by road. The reserve has covered 175 sq km area and has been a home to the water buffalo, deer, crocodile, Dolphin and over 280 species of birds. A barrage on the southern side of the reserve has created a water reservoir where thousands of migrating birds from central Asia and Siberia visit the site in the winter.
Itineraries
Day 01: Fly to Biratnagar & transfer to safari lodge or directly transfer to the camp after crossing the Koshi river bridge. Enjoy welcome drink in the beautiful garden and the guest relation officer brief about the Bird watching package program. Lunch & relax for a while in the garden. After late afternoon visit bird watching site and watch the beautiful sunset view from the Koshi river bank. Dinner & overnight at camp
Day 02: Wake up Call early in the morning and serve you with tea/coffee. Transfer to bird watching site by jeep and explore its natural habitat and watch different birds. After lunch make excursion to the local villages dominated by different ethnic people of Nepal. In the evening back to camp for dinner & overnight stay
Day 03: Wake up Call early in the morning and serve you with tea/coffee. Visit different sun rise view point and bird watching sport. After exploring around back to the camp to have a breakfast and pack the baggage to transfer to the airport for Kathmandu departure.
