Trekking below snowline in the Himalayas has now been very popular due to easy accessibility and well developed infrastructure. Small villages dominated by different ethnic communities with their diverse local customs, dances, folklore and architecture lure the trekkers to experience the rural beauty. The local folks are as vibrant as their natural surroundings and in many cases quite innocent to take benefits of modern civilization. There is much to explore and experience in the Himalayan villages of Nepal. For many visitors, the Himalayan villages appear to be the Shangri-la, the abode of God.  In addition, nature appears to relent and from the austere magnificence of the mid-elevations takes them to a different world of rice terraced fields, cascading water falls, lush green forests blooming with rhododendrons and magnolia, river banks flower-bedecked meadows and a variety of flora and fauna.
