About Restricted Area
Some of the trekking areas in Nepal are remote and not easily accessible. These areas are firmly controlled by the government in order to protect the natural environment and cultural values of the indigenous people whose life has not been changed for centuries. Those who want to trek these areas need to fulfill certain formalities from the department of immigration in order to obtain special permits. Trekking off- the- beaten track can be very rewarding and the travelers need a true sense of adventure and well- equipped logistically. Trekkers have an opportunity to encounter the remote area people and experience their prevailing lifestyle, culture and tradition in a very primitive form, almost unexplored and untouched by modernization.
